  • Task management system to manage problems/cases for customers having issues with products, allowing employees to mark the severity of the issue
  • Support guides and directions designed as PDFs for downloading by customers or printed physically
  • Email notifications to customers for company or product news

Firm Infrastructure

  • Apps needed to interact with building lease/rent insurance AND software in place to organize and manage contracts and legal documents and the management of renewal dates and deadlines
  • Secure handling of super-admin privileges and passwords assigned for all business and employee accounts, with an overall IT security plan in place

Human Resource Management

  • Management and promotion of current open jobs via LinkedIn and other job boards
  • System or service in place to allow for background checks during the interview process
  • Direct email setup, so employees have a place to comfortably and anonymously report issues (e.g., hr@companybusinessname.com)

Technology/Research/Development

  • ERP or other intranet option used as a knowledge base for all company FAQs, most-used documents, and employee contact information
  • Constant testing of emerging technologies to see where potential IT applications could be to bring a competitive advantage to the company
  • Multi-copy backups of all company data

Procurement

  • Database to manage vendor information and purchases
  • Use of search engines to find new vendors and competitive pricing options
