After spending some time at my Aunt’s home in Monterey a few years ago — we enjoyed using a Nespresso EN80B Original Espresso Machine by De’Longhi throughout our stay.
Small in design, the original Nespresso espresso machine will swiftly whip up a cup of espresso at blazing hot temperatures.
When we returned home, we couldn’t help but get our own — with the investment quickly paying itself off by not visiting the local coffee shop as often.

Making Your Nespresso Capsule Coffee Pod Drink
Although I take my coffee and espresso black, I occasionally enjoy frothing milk into my Nespresso espresso and sometimes additional sugar.
As a coffee pod choice, we often get the 50-count of Nespresso Original Line Ispirazione variety pack, including medium and dark roast espresso coffee.
Additional Accessories for the Nespresso EN80B Original Espresso Machine by De’Longhi
To make for an enhanced espresso experience with the original Nespresso espresso machine, we obtained the following additional accessories:
- Coffee Pod Holder — An Amazon Basics Nespresso Coffee Pod Storage Drawer Holder makes for a great base to keep your area clean and tidy, also holding 50 capsules.
- Espresso Mugs — There are many espresso mug choices, but I’ve come to love the JoyJolt Savor double-wall insulated glass espresso mugs. They’re clear so you can see what you’re mixing in your espresso, and I love the smooth finish.
- Milk Frother — Barrett enjoys frothed milk in his coffee, so we purchased a PowerLix handheld battery operated milk frother for $20 from Amazon. The battery lasts long and mixes milk and sugar quickly.
Although we often use a French press for coffee, the Nespresso EN80B Original Espresso Machine by De’Longhi is the perfect tool to whip up a quick cup of espresso if you’re in a rush and need a jolt to get you out the door.
