OBA Kitchen Japanese Cuisine is one of our favorite local Sacramento restaurant spots near UC Davis Medical Center on Broadway if we’re ever in the mood for sushi and ramen noodles.

Out of all cuisine types, I would say I have the sushi craving maybe most — sometimes coming in waves throughout the week. Italian food and Mexican cravings probably come next. What about you? What food do you crave most?

What Do We Get From OBA Kitchen Japanese Cuisine

Apart from delicious edamame and mix tempura as appetizers, here are a few things more different things we’ve had from OBA Kitchen:

  • Buta Gyoza — Pan and deep-fried pork. Always hot and filled scrumptiously.
  • Real California Roll — Snow crab, avocado. I always add a California Roll to each sushi order, with whole, real crab a plus.
  • IZ Roll — Spicy tuna, shrimp
  • Shrimp Tempura Roll — Shrimp tempura, avocado
  • Spider Roll — Soft shell crab, avocado
  • Double Salmon Roll — Fresh salmon, cucumber
  • Spicy Cha-Shu Ramen Soup — Savory broth with cha-shu slices, corn, green onion and egg. One of our favorites. We eat sushi rolls first and then have soup as a second course afterward.

I have yet to try some of the Chinese menu item options, but they also have chicken fried rice, chicken teriyaki, Korean style short ribs, broccoli beef, general chicken, walnut shrimp, sesame chicken, and more if you want something other than straight sushi.

Getting Sushi Delivery Or Takeout

OBA Kitchen is available for takeout or delivery via Grubhub and Grabull to the Sacramento area — and we often use Grabull to order online and then pick up the order in person.

Always quick, fast, and efficient when picking up — with ingredients fresh and flavorful. We’ll surely be back to OBA Kitchen again!
