I like to take an annual trip to Pacific Grove come November — and this year we stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn & Cottages at the bottom tip of Monterey Bay.

Ultimately, I booked the Sea Breeze Inn & Cottages due to the offering of a bungalow, with the ability to park your car right next to your room in a specific space. We stay in all manner of accommodation situations, but parking your car next to your room is a nice treat.

I loved having the separate bungalow from other rooms, and was also within walking distance of the Monarch Grove Sanctuary, and Asilomar State Beach — including downtown Pacific Grove where shops and food abound. Everything in the room worked properly, and we had a King bed. Apart from the Sea Breeze Inn & Cottages, there are a few other motel and inn situations available to choose from in the Pacific Grove cluster.

Although there were social-distancing measures in place, it was still easy enough to check-in quickly. For a fee, the Sea Breeze Inn & Cottages is also an option if you’re traveling with a dog, as they’re allowed.

Apart from the rooms, there was a nice, open firepit area for congregating as single, socially-distanced groups.
