I was up in Seattle for work, and a co-worker mentioned MOD Pizza. I hadn’t heard of it before I visited! We stopped at the location in Bellevue at 3622 Factoria Blvd SE.
In short? Slam dunk!
You obviously can’t go wrong with pizza to start, but the ability to choose your toppings, all baked to perfection by fire is what makes this place splendid.
I chose sausage, onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, along with a side salad. I regret not trying the freshly squeezed fruit drinks available.
My co-worker is allergic to pineapple, and they also had no problem or difficulty changing gloves and making sure they didn’t contaminate the dish.
Now that I’m back in California, I realize now we have MOD Pizza all over the place, but wondering why I missed them. They know what they’re about, and they make a damn good fire-baked pizza.
