I’m asked this question often.

Why did I decide to start blogging? What makes me want to wake each morning – and write? Didn’t I get enough of that in High School English class?

In all honesty – I blog because I love what I do. I love to share my knowledge with the infinite community of users located on this magical thing we call “the internet.” I love web development & marketing. I love people. I love to make new friends. These – are just some – of the many reasons why I decided to become a blogger.

It’s important to realize, in my opinion, that blogging should be fun. We should also remember that blogging is a special privilege. It should be you, your blog, and the ability to share your thoughts with the world. With the simple click of a button. Think for a moment – just how special that capability really is.

When Gutenberg invented the printing press, the world stood back in amazement. We now have the ability to share our work with millions, in the blink of an eye.

Bring Passion To Your Blog

Today I’ve felt inspired to write about passion. Your blog should emanate the passion and love you have for your topic. Your readers will feel it. Otherwise, you’ll quickly find yourself tired – and your writing emotionless.

Choose a blog topic you live for. A blog topic you crave. Something you’re constantly learning about. Make your blog topic – your passion.

If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you. – T. Alan Armstrong

If you blog about your passion – and keep writing – I promise success will find you.

This brings to mind such greats as Einstein, who, through no fault of his own – suffered years and years of failures. And why did he continue? Because he had a passion for his craft, which carried him through every curve ball which was slung his way.

I blog because I love my blog topic. Do you love yours? Have you found your passion?

Take a moment today, and reflect on these thoughts.
