When did you first experience the internet?

I first experienced the Internet when my stepfather signed my family up for cable Internet. I think it was a couple years after the Internet became mainstream. So it would have been around 1998-2000. I remember browsing the internet and thinking of all the things I could possibly do on the net. I got really excited about it and started trying out new things to me such as emailing, online chatting, and very early web development.

From a young age I was always interested in creating websites and I started with every basic designs using Dreamweaver and FrontPage. My first websites I created was with Geocities and hosted for free. Most of the pages were images instead of CSS and HTML. It was pretty horrible but I enjoyed it so I kept at it. I then started taking classes in school and university and got better at it. Now I am were I am today because of all the hard work and determination I had in the past. I hope to keep at it long into the future as well.

What’s the worst thing a blogger can do when trying to make money online?

When trying to make money online you can NEVER give up…

This is really difficult to limit to one point but I guess if I had to say one thing it would be to give up. When trying to make money online you can NEVER give up. If you do you will never be successful making money online. Making money online is very difficult and will not happen over night. All those people who gave up before they gave it a real effort never made any money online. Those who were persistent are the ones who are successful making money online.

I’ve been working on making money online for almost 3 years now and I constantly work to succeed and learn from my mistakes. I will keep at this until I reach the level of success I want to achieve and then I’ll make a new goal and shoot for that.

What’s the best part of living on an island? Barbados.

The best part about living on the island of Barbados is the sun, beaches, and the lifestyle. One thing some people may not realize about Caribbean living is that it is very relaxed. Compared to living in the US or Canada living on the island is super relaxed and a lot less stressful. Everyone moves at a slow pace and people enjoy each others company doing basically nothing but relaxing and chatting. The hustle and bustle of North America can get to you but living on the island is slow placed, relaxing, and a great getaway. This may be attributed to the sun though. Living in a place that is s0 hot seems to slow you down. Also the beaches in Barbados are amazing as well. One of the topic beaches is the world is located in Barbados (The Crane).

So I’d have to say those three things are why I love living on the island of Barbados. Also if you didn’t know this here is a little trivial information. Rihanna was born here in Barbados and Tiger Woods got married here at one of the most expensive golf resorts on the island.

How do you believe the internet will change this year?

One of the main things that will most likely happen is the Internet will get faster. The technology is already super fast in some Asian countries and it slowly catching up in North America. The technology becoming more advanced we will be able to do more things on the internet. We will be able to stream movies faster, upload websites faster, work online faster.

Also there will be new websites tools that will come online this year that I am sure will blow our minds. There are tons of new ones popping up every day such as wolfram alpha that give you the ability to do things online that you never thought you would be able to do in the past. Also I think in the near future we will have wireless internet across most of North America that will be free. Another thing that may happen is the technology to send an Internet signal through the same cable that we use for electricity. If that would be possible it would be amazing!

If you had an hour of free time what would you do?

The more presence I have online the better my websites do…

If I have a free hour of time in the day I usually try to work on one of my numerous online ventures. Whether it is writing a blog post, updating my niche websites, or working behind the scenes on my sites I am trying to constantly increase my web presence. The more presence I have online the better my websites do.

As most people know traffic = money.

So I constantly work to generate more traffic to my websites and help others in the process. If I can help other people reach their goals as well online in the process I am happy.

What advice would you give to the beginning blogger?

Keep positive and motivated when blogging. It is easy for you to get discouraged when blogging if you don’t see your goals being reached right away. Most people think success online will be instant and that couldn’t be farther away from the truth.

Success online takes weeks, months, and sometimes even years of work to get on the right path. So along the process you need to stay positive. Never get down on yourself or you will quit blogging. Also along the way find ways to keep motivated. Maybe watch really success bloggers online, get a friend to praise you, or whatever it takes to be motivated to blog. The longer you stay at it the more successful you will be. So never give up, stay positive, and keep and it and I am sure you’ll reach your blogging goals!
